Announcing: Chat is Now Open, Supporting Hard Problems, And a New Section
Growing a community that cares about hard problems and asks hard questions
Since first beginning to write here things have been moving awfully fast, and I thank the tremendous outpouring of support I have received thus far, it is humbling. In the interests of developing both a deep and expansive community, I am announcing several new initiatives.
New Chat Area: Unlocked
The chat is now open and already some interesting discussions have popped up. Sometimes things happen and up-to-the-minute live chat can help us stay updated on those happenings. It will no doubt serve the community well. If you haven’t already, become a subscriber!
Organize Change
I’ve also created an “Organize Change” section that will host events, zoom meetings and any organizing activity or activism from members of the community. All subscribers can post 2 events per month and paid subscribers will have their event sent out to our entire list of subscribers to boost reach. If
Supporting Hard Problems
I have added a paid, premium tier for those interested in supporting my more in-depth, longer form work, or pledging their support for my future work. As this writing outfit chugs along I will be adding premium content that will attack some pertinent issues through a strong looking glass, and your support will help me do that. All paid subscribers will gain access to these articles as well as the archives. There are a number of options available, including monthly and yearly options.
Let’s tackle the hard problems together.
I am sharing the following information with you and your readers in case it might be helpful:
Although the Orange Hitler and co-president Muskrat have declared that the equal employment opportunity that has stood for 60 years is now dead; however, the hiring portal for anyone who is seeking employment with the US government still contains its long-standing information about equal employment opportunity (see https://www.opm.gov/equal-employment-opportunity/).
This site includes the specific information regarding remediations anyone can seek if he or she believes mistreatment in employment has occurred. All employees who are being illegally fired or furloughed should remember that they do have rights against unfair dismissal. If they are in jeopardy or just think they might be in jeopardy, I urge them now to download of their federal employment files BEFORE they lose access to their accounts. They should also download all saved e-mails and other documents (e.g., PDF, Word, and Excel files) so that they have proof of their satisfactory employment before January 20, 2025.
And, by the way, please do not let Orange Hitler or Muskrat know this site is still available!
